Orders
When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming the details of your order.
If I am unable to fulfil your order, for example because an item is unavailable, there is an error in the price or description, or payment cannot be processed, I will contact you and refund any payment already taken.
All items are handmade in small batches or made to order. Estimated dispatch times are shown on the relevant product page and/or at checkout.
Product information
Doux Cœur takes care to describe and photograph products as accurately as possible.
Because items are handmade, small variations in colour, stitching, placement, texture, size and finish may occur. Minor variations that are consistent with the product description and photographs are part of the handmade nature of the work.
Colours may also appear slightly different depending on screen settings.
This does not affect your legal rights if goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise do not meet the standards required by consumer law.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP).
Doux Cœur is not VAT registered, so VAT is not added to prices.
Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you place your order.
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering using one of the payment methods offered on the website.
Delivery
Doux Cœur currently delivers to UK addresses only.
Delivery costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Dispatch times are separate from delivery times.
Unless otherwise agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and, in any event, within 30 days of your order being accepted.
Cancellation
If you are buying as a consumer, you usually have the right to cancel most online purchases without giving a reason.
You may cancel from the time your order is accepted until 14 days after the day you receive the goods.
If you cancel after receiving the goods, you then have a further 14 days to return them.
Full details, including how to cancel and return an item, are set out on the Shipping & Returns page.
The fact that an item is handmade or made after an order is placed does not, by itself, remove your cancellation right. An exemption may apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
Faulty, damaged or not as described
Your legal rights are not affected by these terms.
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact me at melanie.morel@btinternet.com so that I can put things right.
Use of products
Doux Cœur textiles are non-medical products designed for everyday use and tactile exploration.
They are not medical devices and do not replace medical, psychological, therapeutic or professional advice.
Please use products with appropriate supervision where needed, particularly if the user may put non-food items in their mouth or is unable to use the product safely without support.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory rights or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you and may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
